Frequently Asked Questions
Do I still have to pay a commission?
We offer a flat fee for the listing side. However, if a buyer is represented by an agent, that agent will request a commission (typically 2.5-3%). We strongly suggest taking this into account and pricing your home to offer a competitive commission to buyer's agents, as this incentivizes them to show your property.
How long does the listing last?
Your property will be listed on the MLS for 6 months. You can renew if needed or cancel at any time without penalty.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes! If you decide you want more support, you can upgrade to our Full Service Listing at any time for an additional 3%, payable at successful closing.
Will my phone number be on Zillow?
Zillow and other sites often hide seller contact info to route leads to their own premier agents. However, your contact info will be in the private MLS remarks for agents to schedule showings directly with you.
Do you market my house?
No, we do not personally market your home. We do however list your home to the Regional MLS that then distributes it to popular sites using an IDX feed.
What if I want to change or modify my listing?
Each change is $25 and you are able to make changes as often as you like.
If it only costs $399, why doesn't everyone do it?
The $399 listing is a 'Limited Service' listing. We place your home on the MLS, but you are responsible for the rest—pricing, photos, showings, negotiations, and closing coordination. A full-service agent manages the entire process for you, providing professional marketing, strategy, and representation from start to finish. Most sellers choose full service for the expertise and convenience, while the flat fee is ideal for those willing to do the work themselves.
